These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Seek mobile application and the associated services provided by Taral at https://taral.io (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using Seek, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Seek is a daily word-puzzle game built on the Solana blockchain. Players guess a word of varying length each day. Players who connect a compatible Solana wallet may mint Non-Fungible Token (NFT) achievements that record their progress on-chain. Upgrading NFT tiers requires paying a small SOL fee to cover on-chain transaction costs.
The Service is provided on an 'as-is' basis. Features may change, be added, or be removed at our discretion.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. Users in India must be at least 18 years of age. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have parental or guardian consent.
To access NFT features, you must connect a compatible Solana wallet. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, including safeguarding your private keys and seed phrase. We will never ask for your private key or seed phrase.
All blockchain transactions are irreversible. Once a transaction is submitted to the Solana network, it cannot be cancelled, reversed, or refunded. By initiating a transaction through the Service (including NFT mints and tier upgrades), you acknowledge and accept this risk.
NFT tier upgrades require a SOL payment. Fees are displayed to you before you sign the transaction with your wallet. You are responsible for ensuring sufficient SOL balance including network gas fees ("rent"). We are not responsible for failed transactions caused by insufficient funds or network congestion.
Mint frequency may be subject to rate limits at our discretion. These limits exist to protect the integrity of the achievement system and the sustainability of our infrastructure.
When you successfully mint an NFT through Seek, that NFT is stored in your wallet on the Solana blockchain. You own the NFT as a digital asset. We do not retain custody of your NFTs.
NFTs minted through Seek are achievement tokens recording gameplay milestones. We make no representation or warranty as to the monetary value of any NFT. NFTs are not financial instruments, securities, or investments. Do not use Seek NFTs for speculative or investment purposes.
NFT metadata is served from Taral infrastructure. NFT imagery is stored on IPFS via decentralised storage providers. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and share the NFT imagery associated with NFTs you own. We retain all intellectual property rights in the artwork, design, and metadata.
On-chain NFTs will remain in your wallet regardless of the status of the Service. NFT imagery stored on IPFS may persist independently of Taral's infrastructure. However, if we discontinue the Service, associated metadata hosted on our servers (JSON metadata) may become unavailable. We will endeavor to provide reasonable notice before any such discontinuation.

All content, code, artwork, branding, and other materials comprising the Seek app and https://taral.io are owned by or licensed to Taral. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Blockchain networks are subject to congestion, forks, and outages outside our control. We are not responsible for delays, failed transactions, or loss of assets resulting from network conditions.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TARAL AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount of SOL fees you paid to us in the thirty (30) days preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Taral and its affiliates, officers, and employees from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable Indian arbitration rules, conducted in English.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 survive termination.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Taral with respect to the Service.
